Beginner Mounted Shooter Clinic

Event Description

Jared and Cara Penley, national-winning Cowboy Mounted Shooters and trainers of Penley Horsemanship invite you to a one day clinic geared towards introducing you to the world of Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Learn the basics to set you and your horse up for success in one of western horse events most exciting sports. No previous experience in the sport necessary! Clinic is broken into three sections centered on: 1) proper gun handling and ground shooting 2) introduction of horses to gunfire and 3) pattern work. Must have your own horse to participate. Guns, holsters, and earplugs for horses are provided. Ammo included in clinic cost. Lunch included. All clinics are limited to 12 participants. Auditors welcome! Audit fee is $20. Stalls available at $20/day. 30 amp electrical hookups available for $30/night. Bunkhouse available for $75/night (sleeps 3 people). Cost is $205. Payment in full through the website required to register for clinic. Stalls and hookups/bunkhouse can be paid for upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Payment in full is required to hold your spot in any clinic. If you cannot attend, the clinic fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for other services. We are a small business and cannot afford to absorb the loss of last-minute cancelations. We understand that things happen outside of your control, but please remember that reimbursement to you last minute is a direct loss to us. With that said, you are more than welcome to give or sell your spot to another person if you cannot attend. We will do our best to have a wait list available to reference as well.
